The Similarities
Adjustable Loft
Adjustable loft pillows are increasingly popular because of their ability to be adapted to the customers preference Side, back and stomach sleepers all have different needs and having an adjustable loft allows a one-size-fits-all approach to your sleep accessories.
Both the Snuggle-Pedic and the Coop Eden are top rated pillows on Amazon, and each feature a bamboo cover and a gel-infused shredded memory foam mix. This mix can be added to or removed for the ultimate customization.

Temperature Regulation
If you’ve ever had to wake up in the middle of the night to flip to the cool side of the pillow, you know how annoying it is when your pillow sleeps hot. Both companies have taken steps to combat this by using bamboo covers and gel-infused memory foam. Bamboo is known to help wick away moisture and improve breathability!
CertiPUR-US and Greenguard Certified Foam
The foam in both pillows have passed strict standards for content, emissions, and durability. Having a CertiPUR-US and Greenguard certification ensures that the foam is made without harmful cancer-causing chemicals. This means no ozone depleters, formaldehyde or heavy metals and, overall, low V.O.C. emissions (volatile organic compounds) for indoor air quality.

Off-Gassing
While it is common to experience some off-gassing with memory foam products we were surprised at the difference between Snuggle-Pedic and the Coop Eden.
When we opened up the Snuggle-Pedic there was a mild odor that dissipated within the first hour or two and we were able to sleep with the pillow from the very first night.
On the other hand, the Coop Eden almost set us aback with the chemical smell; it was quite strong, especially as I lay my head upon the pillow. Unlike the Snuggle-Pedic, this odor did not dissipate within the first hour or two, in fact, it lingered for several days before I really wanted to test the pillow overnight.

Pillow Sizes & Price
The Coop Eden is available in a Queen ($96) or King size ($196).
Snuggle-Pedic is available in Standard ($75.23), Queen ($74.99), or King Size ($69.48). As you can see, Snuggle-Pedic pricing is a bit all over the place with a King size pillow costing less than both the Standard and Queen sizes.
Sleep Trial
- Snuggle-Pedic offers a 120 night sleep trial
- Coop Home Goods offers a 100 night sleep trial
Both companies offer free shipping and returns.
Warranty
Quite a big difference to be seen here:
- Coop Home Goods offers a 5 year warranty
- Snuggle-Pedic offers a ridiculously generous 20 year warranty on their pillow, 4 times what you get with the Coop Eden.
More than Pillows?
In addition to a selection of pillow offerings, Coop Home Goods also sells bedding products and a few random household goods such as refrigerator deodorizers and seat cushions.
Snuggle-Pedic offers a few different pillow options alongside other bedding products and the Snuggle-Pedic mattress. We even voted the Snuggle-Pedic mattress, winner of Best Memory Foam Mattress.

Final Thoughts
In terms of comfort you really can’t go wrong with either pillow. Both are excellently crafted and luxuriously soft with great cooling benefits. We do caution anyone thinking about the Coop Eden to expect a strong, lingering, chemical smell when initially receiving the pillow. Some reviews suggested the odor lasted as long as a couple of weeks.
I already had the Coop Eden pillow (bought about 3 years ago) and never had any problem with smell at all. I just purchase a second one, and it has a lingering strong smell. I took the foam out and put it in a large open box to air out. I washed both the liner and the pillow case (dried with dryer sheet) and am airing them out as well. Putting them in the dryer did no good at all. I think the smell is finally disappointing….so hopefully I can use it next week. I keep smelling the foam, and the smell is slowly going away. I do love this pillow…………worth airing out!
