How Do The Pure Parima Sheets Feel?
We tested the Pure Parima Yalda Sheet Set collection, which features a beautiful double-hem stitch design. The sheets are made with a sateen weave and have a 400-thread count.
The Yalda Sheet set is elegant and sophisticated. The sheets have a lustrous shine and are silky smooth to the touch. The sateen weave produces a thicker, heavier sheet than alternative weaves; this provides excellent draping and a sense of luxury. Overall, these sheets feel sinfully soft, luxurious, and inviting!

Do Pure Parima Bedsheets Sleep Cool?
The bedsheets have a nice cool-to-the-touch feel, but I did find myself warming up a bit throughout the night. As a hot sleeper, I wouldn’t use them year-round, but I think they are an ideal choice moving into the cooler months of fall and winter.
For hot sleepers, I’d recommend a set of premium bamboo bed sheets, such as these by Cariloha.
What Comes In The Sheet Set?
All bedsheet sets come with a fitted sheet (1), a flat sheet (1), and either 1 or 2 pillowcases, depending on the bed size ordered.
The fitted sheet features deep pockets making them a good choice for taller mattresses. The Twin, Twin XL, and Full-size fitted sheets include a 17” pocket, while the Queen, King, and California King fitted sheets include an 18” pocket.

Pillowcase Sizes
The pillowcases come with an envelope enclosure to help keep your pillow in place, which is a nice touch. I’m a particularly active combo sleeper, but the envelope enclosure kept me from losing my pillowcase during the night.
The Twin and Twin XL sheet sets only come with one pillowcase. The Full, Queen, King, California King, and Split King sheet sets come with two pillowcases.

Are Pure Parima Sheets Wrinkle-Resistant?
Pure Parima does not artificially treat their sheets; this includes anti-wrinkling treatments and fabric softeners. While this is better for your overall health, these sheets tend to wrinkle more than those artificially treated. To minimize wrinkles, follow the care instructions to prevent wrinkles before they happen!
What Are Egyptian Cotton Sheets?
Grown in the Nile River Valley, Egyptian Cotton makes up only 1% of the world’s cotton supply. The incredibly vitamin-rich soil of the Nile River Valley ensures that Egyptian Cotton is longer and stronger, creating a soft yet durable material that pills and frays less than other kinds of cotton, such as American Cotton.

What Is The Best Thread Count For Egyptian Cotton Sheets?
If you are familiar with our review of Purple’s bamboo bedsheets, you may already know that thread count is overrated.
Thread count refers to the total number of horizontal and vertical threads in one square inch of bedding. Pure Parima states that having more than 600 threads per square inch is physically impossible.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been introduced to the idea that thread count is overrated, but how can this be? Doesn’t having a higher thread count mean a better, softer, more luxurious product? Not necessarily! In fact, a higher thread count means stiffer, thicker sheets with decreased breathability and comfort.
